Description
The TP-Link is a media converter designed to convert 1000BASE-LX/LH fibre to 1000Base-T copper media, or vice versa, built to IEEE 802.3ab and IEEE 802.3z standards. It is designed for use with single-mode fibre cable using an SC type connector, supporting longwave (LX) laser specification at full wire speed forwarding rate, transmitting and receiving data at 1310nm. The converter can be used as a standalone device without requiring a chassis, or installed within a TP-Link 19 inch system chassis. It features Auto MDI/MDI-X for the TX port, front panel status LEDs, and switch configuration of Force or Auto transfer mode for the FX port. Fibre transmission distances can extend up to 15 kilometres when using single-mode fibre.
