The Upsonic DSV Series UPS is a high quality, compact design line interactive UPS available in 600VA, 800VA, 1000VA, 1500VA, and 2000VA capacities. It power protects workstations from surge corruption and mains failure, with AC battery support allowing users to save work or continue working until the UPS battery runs low. When the USB communications cable is connected, the UPS can signal an unattended workstation to shut down during a mains failure as the battery gets low, then auto-start charging while starting the workstation simultaneously. For Point of Sale environments, it protects terminals and scanners from losing transactions due to power loss or corrupted power, helps prevent equipment damage from power surges, and guards against equipment power fatigue caused by high or low mains voltage through the Auto Voltage Regulator feature. It also suits entry level video surveillance CCTV setups, typically 4 to 8 channel NVR systems, preventing the loss of important video captures during a criminally broken mains supply or general utility power failure. For home automation, it shields system hubs from power surges and failures, with remote UPS alerts enabling decisions on how to handle automation remotely, such as closing automated blinds before the communication hub UPS battery ends.
